On Veterans Day, November 11th, The Mentors radio host Tom Loarie will give listeners a rare, behind-the-scenes look into the journey to becoming the “Right Stuff” with guests Lt. Colonel Peter Smith, USAF, Ret. and Colonel David Smith USAF, Commander of the 419th Fighter Wing. Both guests are U.S. Air Force Academy graduates, experienced A-10, F-16 and F-35 fighter pilots, combat veterans having served in the Serbian and Middle East combat zones, and real-life brothers. Today Lt. Col. Peter Smith lives in Wellington, Florida, and serves as a Captain for Jet Blue. Colonel David Smith serves as Commander for the 419th Fighter Wing at the Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
