    • Vik Malhotra is chairman of the Americas and a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, where he leads the practices in both North America and Latin America. Malhotra previously led McKinsey’s Northeast office and prior to that led McKinsey’s financial institutions practice. He is a member of McKinsey’s shareholders council and director review committee. Malhotra also previously led McKinsey’s North American life insurance practice, the North American personal financial services practice, and co-led the emerging markets financial institutions practice.

At McKinsey, Malhotra has focused on wholesale banking, asset management, private banking and retail banking. His financial services consulting experience has spanned the areas of corporate strategy, business unit strategy, growth strategies, performance transformation, organizational design, operational improvement and business process offshoring. Malhotra began his career at the accounting firm of Ernst & Whinney in London, England.
Malhotra is a trustee on the boards of the Wharton Graduate School, the Asia Society, the Touch Foundation and The Conference Board. He earned his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and his undergraduate degree in economics from the London School of Economics.
