2019 – Mr Jeffery Nemeth was appointed Director of Ownership Lifecycle Management, effective July 1, 2017. He is responsible for defining the customer engagement strategy for Ford Motor Company from the first owner through the final owner of Ford and Lincoln vehicles globally.
In his prior capacity, as president and CEO of Ford Motor Company of Africa, effective January 1, 2010, Nemeth oversaw Ford’s entire business operations in Sub Saharan Africa (including South Africa) with responsibility for growing the Ford brand. He was also responsible for directing day-to-day operations of Ford’s manufacturing sites in Nigeria, Port Elizabeth and Pretoria, as well as working with key partners in government, media, dealers, suppliers and the union.
From 2007 to 2010, Mr Nemeth served as president of Ford Lio Ho Motors in Taiwan, overseeing Ford’s entire business operation in the country with responsibility for growing the Ford and Mazda brands, while directing day-to-day operations of Ford’s Taiwan manufacturing facility. Prior to his appointment to Taiwan, Nemeth was General Manager of the Corporate Strategy Division, Mazda Japan. Mr Nemeth joined Ford’s Customer Service Division in 1995 and 2 years later became the North American Controller for Ford Credit.
He has acquired extensive experience in both Asia and North America, having served in senior leadership roles in Management, Finance and Customer Service. Mr Nemeth serves on multiple corporate, association and NGO boards. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Engineering and Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame, U.S.A.
